Jet Set N Sue

This is Sue or Jet Set N Sue (an AQHA mare).
Available for adoption as COMPANION horse only.
Adoption fee $65.00 to cover Coggins and Health
Certificate.
Due to her lameness and past breeding history I don't
recommend her for anything other then a Companion animal.
Any perspective adopter will have to fill out an
extensive application and contract stating that she will not be used as a brood
mare and to return her to Prism Horses
should the adopter not be able to care for her in the future.

A really well bred mare.
Taken 3/15/05. Sue is just the best horse I have
ever had the privilege to get to know. She is lame from what appears to be an
accident, but that doesn't bother her personality. She has been the best Auntie
mare for my babies. Unfortunately her baby from 2004 had complications at birth and had to be put down. But she helped tremendously with the other babies. She has provided my other babies with a great education in life - helping to keep them calm when things get a little iffy (such as around weaning time).
There is one other story about her that shows that she is a special mare. Several months ago, after my first plastic surgery to repair some skin cancer damage on my face, I was out in the pasture trying to get their attention that we were going to feed them early. Anyway I had to get out to the far end of the pasture to get them. Unfortunately on the way back I was staring directly into the setting sun. Well I couldn't see too well because of that. So I placed my hand on Sue's shoulder and started walking back to the feed stalls with her. Sue realized that I needed help as I couldn't see, and she lead me all the way back. She even redirected her route to make it easier for us, guiding me around obstacles and up less steep inclines. I know this as I peeked several times on the way back.
For this reason, she will forever be in my heart.
