Spring of 2005 - Age - coming 2 year old.
I took these pics when I was taking registration pics of all the horses. Ayashe has been registered as a 1/2 Arabian gelding. YEAH!!! And that is my son Ian holding him.

Ian and Ayashe - the great
fisherman
Although neither caught the fish
but it was fun watching them play.
Finally an Update - Feb 2005!
Well, its the beginning of a new year and I finally remembered I had some newer pictures of Ayashe. Ayashe will be 2 years old in
June of this year and had grown well and gained weight well also. He's turned out to be one HANDSOME colt. I have now been able to find out his sire's name (Oil Patch Lucifer) and I have added what information I have to
www.allbreedpedigree.com.
Lots of very old good bloodlines.
We have moved to our new place - one where we can have the horses with us instead of my keeping them at a friends house. Every one has settled in nicely and has so far made it through the winter so far. No problems yet.
The picture above were taken on September 29th, 2004. I had to sneak up on him in pasture to take
it. If I show up out there they all expect me to have treats with me or that's it's dinner time.
January of 2004
Ayashe is gaining weight, though you can't see it here. It's been cold here lately and Heidi and I have worried that he is using too much of his energy in staying warm and that he'd start loosing ground. So I went looking for a blanket that would fit him. Yeah, I know it's a little bit big for him. I tried a foal blanket on him but that left him too exposed we thought, so I went looking for a bigger one. A little bit big but it works. I think he's a little miffed that he can't get it grungy - I sprayed waterproofer on it to keep it from soaking up moisture when it rains - it has the same effect of repelling all the dirt and hay he likes to lay in. He did manage to get it off once and Heidi had to go looking for it in the pasture - Heidi said he looked pretty proud of himself that morning.
My son, Ian, is the one doing the leading. Ian is 8 years old and is looking forward to doing more horse stuff in the future.
Ayashe is a PMU foal - PMU stands for Pregnant Mare Urine - which is used in the making of the drug Premarin. I will not discuss the drug on this site - there are plenty other sites for that. All I will say is that I adopted him because he seemed to speak to me from his picture on the adoption site:
PrismPMUFoals.com
That's all for now, I will be doing more stories and developing this
site more in the next few weeks (months). So check back, and thanks for
visiting.
